Just spent 5 wonderful days in the FL Keys, 4 with long time friends which was  lots of fun and relaxing, great scenery, food, wine, a little biking and a great sunset in Key West which was lots of laughs too.  Our friend Sher rented a nice house on a canal overlooking a nature preserve for the little Key Deer that are there, and yes, we saw several.  Also alligators, turtles and LOTS of birds.  We spent an afternoon in the Bahia Honda State Park snoozing on the beach, walking on the old bridge and through the park some.  Our friends had to leave early Sunday morning and we spent all day Sunday back at the park.  It was too windy for good snorkeling so we laid on the beach, rode the clown (folding) bikes, (Thanks Dylan and Barb for the loan!), and bird watched.  On the way home we picked up some very fresh Gulf Shrimp and cooked up a fine dinner!

This morning we hit the road again and headed back to Ft.Meyers so we can go shelling for a few days on Sanibel Island which should be very good since a storm has gone through.  Ted found a few good records at some thrift shops along the road,  listening to Anita O’Day now, no surprise, we travel with a record player…doesn’t everyone?  I’ll  add a few photos tonight.  Gypsy Annie signing out.
